Why conduct a Ningen Dock check-up at NTT Medical Center Tokyo?
The hospital has a dedicated Center for Preventive Medicine, it provides patient-centered health checkups focused on prevention, early detection, and early treatment — helping people maintain and improve their long-term health.
The center receives over 17,500 patients (from 2024-2025) for Ningen Dock check-up
-
The center is recognized for its advanced endoscopic technology and expertise in detecting stomach and esophageal cancers at an early, treatable stage.
All procedures are performed by certified gastrointestinal endoscopists from our hospital’s Endoscopy Center, using high-precision equipment. This approach provides greater accuracy than conventional barium or X-ray tests, helping patients receive timely diagnosis and care. -
The center is one of the few centers that perform low-dose chest CT scans as part of routine checkups for people aged 40 and above. To ensure reliability, every scan is independently reviewed by three physicians, including radiology specialists — reducing the chance of missed findings and providing extra peace of mind.
-
The checkup programs are designed for busy individuals who value both thoroughness and convenience.
A typical one-day course starts at 8:15 a.m. and finishes by around 1:00 p.m., covering multiple tests such as physical measurements, ECG, and CT scans in one streamlined visit.
(Optional examinations may extend beyond 1:00 p.m.)
