How to receive your Ningen Dock check-up
Nippon Health coordinates your entire Ningen Dock experience from first inquiry to results.
We handle booking, paperwork, and communication with the hospital to ensure a smooth check-up process. Agent support can also be arranged for travel or interpretation if needed.
Contact Nippon Health – Send us your details. Our team will review your needs and recommend the most suitable package and hospital.
Free consultation & package selection – We will discuss your health goals and advise on optional tests. Once confirmed, you will receive instructions for booking and documentation.
Book & pay via Nippon Health – Complete your reservation and payment through the Nippon Health website. You will then receive confirmation and next steps from our team.
Hospital paperwork & advance forms – About 3 weeks before your appointment, we will send you the hospital’s pre-registration information and medical questionnaires (online or paper). You must complete and return them before your check-up date.
Travel to Japan & hospital visit – On the day of your check-up, arrive at the designated time shown in your advance notice. You will change into examination clothes before the tests begin. The total time varies depending on your chosen package. After completion, you may have lunch at the hospital restaurant.
Results & report delivery – Your results will be available approximately 3 weeks after your visit. Nippon Health will provide an English translation of your report and follow-up guidance as needed.
*Nippon Health will arrange for a trusted agent to support you with travel arrangements with additional fees incurred
What to bring on the check-up day
To ensure your Ningen Dock health check runs smoothly, please prepare and bring the following items and documents. Some may need to be completed in advance (marked items are required):
Document and forms
Medical referrals from your local physician (if applicable)
*Any medical application forms or paper questionnaires provided by the hospital
Personal items
Collected stool specimen (if requested in advance)
Glasses or contact lenses (and a contact lens case, if needed)
A list or memo showing the names of any medications you are currently taking (such as a medication notebook)
A light jacket that can be easily put on and taken off, as examination rooms may be cool
Clothing and accessories
You will be asked to change into examination clothes. Please bring socks or wear low-heeled shoes that are easy to remove. Slippers are not permitted for safety reasons. Remove necklaces, bracelets, watches, and other accessories before testing. Please also avoid heavy makeup, nail polish, gel nails, or wearing stockings on the day of your check-up.
